This year, we have seen many changes in the government contract world such as the migration from the DUNS number to the new Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Another change revolves around GSA’s Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) vehicle, BIC MAC. BIC MAC replaces OASIS (One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services) and stands for Best in Class Multi-Agency Contract. BIC MAC was a temporary name for the new vehicle that will support GSA’s Federal Acquisition Office of Professional Services and Human Capital Categories.

BIC MAC has now been renamed GSA FAS Services MAC. As we learn more about Services MAC, we will share it with you. This is what we do know:

  • It is a more flexible vehicle than OASIS
  • It will work better with procurement needs for complex services
  • The target date for the RFP release date the start of FY2023

In preparation of the release of the RFP, there are steps you can take using our BC2Match platform:

  • Research opportunities and find matches by adding vehicles, NAICS codes, and certifications to your profile
  • As you find opportunities, look for gaps in skillsets and experiences and find matches with contractors who meet those needs.
