  1. Confirm your NAICS codes
  2. Confirm your product/service codes (PSC)
  3. Freshen up your capability statement
  4. Participate in a BC2Match weekly noon webinar
  5. Check and update your SAM.gov listing
  6. Check and edit your DSBS listing
    • Confirm and add keywords
    • Confirm and add past performance
    • Upload your capability statement
    • Confirm and add professional and industry certifications
    • Confirm and add any special equipment or processes (e.g. Agile)
  7. Compare your SAM and DSBS listings against those of your competitors
  8. Has your contact information changed?
    • Update your UEI and D&B records (even tho D&B isn’t used for SAM any longer)
    • Confirm names and contact info of key officials 
  9. Pump up your past performance in DSBS
  10. Review Point of Contact info for your existing government contracts, with particular attention to older long-term contracts like GSA schedule awards
  11. Confirm your search keywords
  12. Budget for training and networking conferences, meetings and memberships
  13. Filed your EEO-1 and VETS-100 forms?
  14. Upload your government-friendly capability statement to your website.

Set a calendar reminder to cover these bases at the beginning of every fiscal year, when the quantity of new RFPs is slow.
