Time will tell whether a shutdown occurs or NOT. What is really important is how you position your company for the future.

Answer 2 questions:

  • What are the right opportunities for you?
  • Who will lead you to those opportunities?

Often, the best opportunities arise when chaos is swirling. How can you benefit?

Get Asked to Join a Team

Cement current relationships and increase your contacts to drive success. The more qualified people you know, the higher the probability of being asked to join a team.

How do you identify qualified prime and subcontractors with complementary talents? Who are contractors in other geographic areas who sell allied goods or services to the same buyers?

Seek Business Like An Investigator

Last week’s blog focused on how to use NAICS codes that surround your primary NAICS. Often, a catchall NAICS is used rather than the one that is your primary NAICS. Here are examples of high volume NAICS:

  • 311999 – All Other Miscellaneous Food Manufacturing.
  • 333998 – All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing.
  • 333999 – All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing.
  • 334419 – Other Electronic Component Manufacturing.
  • 541519 – Other Computer Related Services.

Other and All Other are catchalls. Note bullets 2 and 3 are 1 digit apart with the same titles. Monitor all the NAICS in your area so you don’t miss out.
